The property is located on the west side of Taylor Highway near the west fork campground trailhead, about 45 minutes from the town of Tok. Located 22 miles off Taylor Highway in an area known to locals as Mitchels Ranch, the property can be accessed by ATVs or snowmobiles. Potential exists to put in an airstrip and build your cabin from the timber on the land. Use it as your own personal hideaway or as a guide property.
The Fortymile gold district is also known for its beautiful wilderness and abundant wildlife. It is home to various big game animals, including massive Alaska-Yukon Moose, caribou, black and grizzly bears, wolves, lynx, and some of the largest porcupines you may ever see.
